‘What is a data analyst?’ I bet you have wondered the same question many times. In 2023, we should probably be better off asking ourselves, ‘What are the types of data analysts in the industry?’ We know very little about the scope of business problems data analysts deal with and the set of skills they are required to have.
Problem
Consider the Data Analyst Job Postings dataset available on Kaggle. Then use topic modeling to address the following problems:
What are the skill sets gravitating around the ‘data analyst’?
Is it possible to create clusters of job ads emphasizing homogenous skill sets?
